Plastic Random Packing Mbbr Bio Film Carrier for Marine Water Filter

In the aerobic biological fluidized bed process, three-dimensional hollow packing serves as the aerobic biological carrier. The packing features a hollow structure and remains suspended in water during normal operation. Anaerobic bacteria grow inside the packing, enabling denitrification for nitrogen removal, while aerobic bacteria on the surface decompose organic matter. Both nitrification and denitrification processes occur simultaneously throughout the treatment.

Industrial Wastewater Treatment:

Usage Method:
In a biological fluidized bed system for industrial effluent, polyurethane (PU) or polypropylene (PP) carriers of 5-15 mm diameter are used with a bed depth of 0.8-1.2 m; aeration intensity is maintained at 0.05-0.15 m³/(m²·h) and hydraulic retention time of 6-8 h to ensure complete degradation and nitrification-denitrification

Case:
A seafood processing plant in Shandong used K3 cubic PU carriers (1×1×1 cm) in a 10 m³/h fluidized bed + secondary clarifier system, achieving 92% COD removal and 85% ammonia removal
Anaerobic Digestion Tank

Usage Method:
In an anaerobic fluidized bed reactor (AFBR), inorganic carriers (e.g., expanded clay or activated carbon) of 1-3 mm are used; operating temperature is 35-37 °C, HRT is 8-12 h, and superficial gas-solid velocity is kept at 0.5-1.0 m/h to maintain biofilm integrity

A Turkish winery upgraded its UASB to an anaerobic fluidized bed treating grape marc wastewater (COD 8 000 mg/L). With activated carbon packing, effluent COD dropped below 500 mg/L and methane yield reached 0.30 m³/kg COD_removed
