In the aerobic biological fluidized bed process, three-dimensional hollow packing serves as the aerobic biological carrier. The packing features a hollow structure and remains suspended in water during normal operation. Anaerobic bacteria grow inside the packing, enabling denitrification for nitrogen removal, while aerobic bacteria on the surface decompose organic matter. Both nitrification and denitrification processes occur simultaneously throughout the treatment.
