Stainless Steel Type CMR Cascade Mini Ring for Absorbing Towers
Cascade Ring packing features flanged edges on the sides, which not only enhance the mechanical strength of the packing rings but also increase the directional probability during placement by breaking the structural symmetry. The flanges cause the contact between packing gaps during stacking to shift from linear contact to point contact. This increases inter-particle voids, reduces gas flow resistance through the packing layer, and creates convergence/dispersion points for liquid flow along the packing surface, promoting liquid film renewal and improving mass transfer efficiency.
