Application
Hexagonal honeycomb inclined tube packing is primarily used for sedimentation and sand removal. It has been widely adopted in water supply and drainage projects over the past decade as an efficient water treatment device. Advantages include broad applicability, high treatment efficiency, and compact footprint. Suitable for:

1.Inlet sand removal.
2.General industrial and domestic water sedimentation.
3.Sewage sedimentation, oil separation, and tailings thickening.

Both new projects and retrofitting existing facilities, yielding significant economic benefits.
Straight tubes are mainly used as microbial carriers in high-load biological filters, tower biological filters, submerged biological filters (contact oxidation tanks), and rotating biological contactors for biochemical treatment of industrial organic wastewater and municipal sewage.
 

Technical Parameters

When tube length is 1m, effective load is designed at 3-5 tons/m²·h. Optimal water quality is achieved with V controlled at 2.5-3.0 mm/s.
At water intakes with 50-100 kg/m³ sediment concentration, inclined tubes (2.0-3.0m length) ensure safe operation.
Treatment capacity of inclined tube sedimentation tanks is 3-5 times that of horizontal flow tanks and 2-3 times that of accelerated clarification tanks.
