Metal Structured Tower Packing Corrugated Structured Packing for Distillation
The main feature of the stainless steel mesh corrugated structured packing is to directly punch and stretch the stainless steel metal plate into a smaller-sized diamond-shaped mesh plate, then punch it into a corrugated sheet, and then assemble it into a packing tray. It combines the performance advantages of metal wire mesh corrugated packing and metal plate corrugated packing, and is a new type of packing with higher efficiency and lower price. Due to its large specific surface area, it is more efficient. The regular diamond-shaped NetEase is covered by a liquid film, and the uneven surface enhances the turbulence, mixing and surface renewal of the liquid film.
Advantage:
(1) High capacity. New tower design may reduce diameter, while renovate old towers may increase capacity significantly.
(2) High separation efficiency. Since it has much larger specific surface area compared to random packing.
(3) Low pressure drop, which leads to reduce energy consumption largely.
(4) Large flexibility, and scale effect is not obvious.
(5) Suitable for all tower diameters.
(6) Strong resistance to corrosion of acid and alkali,especially to H2S, naphthenic acid and Cl- .
